Map o' da Week! #1

I hate Macromedia Freehand and hope we never have to use it again. It is so user-unfriendly and the simplest ways to change colors and other "easy" type stuff are so difficult to do.

The changes to this one are as obvious as the Qualitative map. I redid the equation for the percentage though, which is visible looking at the legend and the different colors layouts on both maps.

There are a lot of changes here. This was the first map I've done in 5 years from when I took GEOG 385. They are all pretty self explanatory.

There are subtle changes in these two maps. I removed the underline from the title and changed the scale bar. I can't really see where the format could be changed, unless you were to make it a portrait layout instead of a landscape layout. A portrait layout would look better with a state like Idaho.

With this map, I changed the color scheme a little bit, changed the north arrow to a more suitable icon, fixed some small stuff with towns and made subtle changes with the legend.
